The Mighty Merrimack is a strong river that runs from the mountains of New Hampshire to Newburyport.
In the Spring the snow melt flow provides fast current. When the wind decides to blow from North in opposition
to the flow of the river, the Merrimack creates waves and sometimes whitecaps. This past Friday was one such day.
You will see in these pictures what happens when the wind angers the river. Our rowers get wet.
